City Creek Fishing

Here, I am fishing at Mark's Outdoors in Vestavia Hills. There are Creek Chub, Rock Bass, Channel Catfish and Bass. I am fishing off the bridge. I am fishing with a size 8 hook, a bobber and a worm. The creeks are great to fish in because you don't know what you will catch. It is a surprise. I caught Creek Chub and Rock Bass. It was a great time.

Finding Fishing Holes where We Live

Catching Rock Bass in Vestavia Hills, AL!

Hello.  My name is Kai. Today we're fishing at a creek in Vestavia Hills, AL.  We caught a bunch of rock bass on artificial grub worm lures and worms and rooster tails. I caught 18 rock bass today.  They were about the size of my hand.  This is one of them that I caught today.  I also caught two large mouth bass in another creek near Vestavia Hills High School.

Fishing Poem

Fishing is fun!
I think it is cool.
See the fish bite on the hook.
Hear them hit the top of the water.
I think Bream fishing is fun too.
No fish can resist bait.
Got to go fishing!

College Fishing Tournament in Guntersville

I went to a fishing tournament at Lake Guntersville in Alabama.  I got a special lure from one of the Alabama fishing team members.  They told me a few tips on fishing.  I got my picture made with the teams from the University of Alabama and UAB (University of Alabama at Birmingham).  It was a really fun trip.
